Stop press, something exciting is happening today!

FOLLOW THE LEADER, the second book in the Detective Allie Shenton Series, is published.

I republished this book due to  getting my rights back earlier this year. As I did with TAUNTING THE DEAD, I have re-edited and recovered it. (Please do check on your kindles that you haven't already downloaded it.)

I'm now working on getting Only the Brave ready for republication on 7th April and I am really enjoying getting to know Allie again. Of course I know the team she works with as they are in the DS Grace Allendale Series, but with Good Girl, which came out in paperback last week, that series has come to an end.

In Good Girl, Allie Shenton has been promoted to Detective Inspector and if I have enough interest from my readers, I may continue writing more Allie books. For now, I'm pondering.

I already have several ideas forming for new books - and there are plenty of old characters that I could bring into them.

Even though this video below was made in 2015, and it has the old covers on it, I thought I'd share this again.

It was filmed by the super talented Martin Brough, who used to work at The Sentinel, my local newspaper. Despite all my uhms and ahhs; he did a great job!

And here is the synopsis for Follow The Leader:

‘A writer to watch out for.’  Mandasue Heller.

A man’s body is found on a canal towpath. In his pocket, a magnetic letter in the shape of an E.

Days later, a second victim is found, this time with the letter V tucked into her clothing.

As the body count rises, the eerie, childlike clues point to a pattern that sends DS Allie Shenton and her colleagues into full alert.

The race is on. Allie and the team must work quickly to determine where the killer will strike next.

The rules are simple but deadly—to catch the killer, they must follow the leader.

This is the second book in the Detective Allie Shenton Series. The third book in the series, Only the Brave, will be published on 7 April 2021.

To catch a killer, you must play the game. The rules are simple but deadly.
