I’m a little bit shell-shocked this morning. It’s been SO long in the making that I’m not sure I can believe it. Today I will be travelling down to London with my fella and friends for my OWN book launch.

It’s been a VERY long journey to get here and the emotional rollercoaster comment that has become a cliché is definitely in my vocabulary. But I got there.

Today WATCHING OVER YOU is published.

Here’s to a good time this evening – for friends I’ve met along the way and friends that I’ve yet to meet. And here’s to my readers who have made my dream come true. Thank you – I raise a glass to you all.

Finally, it’s happened to me

Wow! Congratulations Mel, that’s fabulous news. Have a wonderful time. I shall add my review of “Watching Over You” to Amazon today as it’s currently just on Goodreads and my Facebook page @Kindle Suggestions.

Thanks, Cally. It was SO great to see you, and thanks for the card. Lovely message. Who would have known when we first met all those years ago that we would both be writing psychological thrillers rather than chick-lit. Mx

Thanks so much, Rebecca. We had a ball, didn’t we? I remember you saying it would fly by and it did. I keep recalling things that happened. Thanks so much for coming, and for the bubbly, both much appreciated! Mx

Jan, it was fabulous to meet you too, at last! And to get two hugs, one for George. I really wish I had more time to talk to everyone but it seems my friends just got on with my friends! Mx
